When you register for a Morph-Z account, we collect personal information such as:

• Password (stored securely via AWS Cognito — we never store plain-text passwords)

b. Usage & Activity Data

When you use the platform, we automatically log:

• Login and logout timestamps
• Session duration
• Compute run history — including which files were processed and how long each run took
• Input parameters used during compute sessions

c. Technical Information

We may also collect technical data such as IP addresses, browser type, and device information to maintain security and improve platform performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is collected and used only for specific purposes, including:

• Managing your account and authenticating your identity via AWS Cognito
• Processing compute sessions and delivering results through Rhino Compute
• Generating PDF invoices and billing records for your fabrication sessions
• Providing administrators with usage analytics for capacity planning and billing
• Communicating important updates about the platform or your account
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and our terms of service

We will not use your personal information in ways that violate your privacy or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Files Uploaded to the Platform

When you upload a Grasshopper .gh file or an image to the platform for a compute session:

• Files are processed in memory on our secure AWS EC2 server and are not permanently stored after the session
• Input values and compute results may be logged for activity tracking and billing purposes
• We do not share your uploaded files or design outputs with any third party

4. Data Protection and Legal Compliance

We are committed to complying with applicable Indian data protection legislation. All data collected is used only as necessary and will not be shared outside of the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy unless required by law or with your explicit consent.

User authentication and account management is handled by AWS Cognito, which maintains industry-standard security practices for identity management.

5. Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal data. All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted over HTTPS using SSL/TLS certificates. Authentication tokens (JWTs) are verified server-side on every protected request.

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, which complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We do not store your card details, and all payment data is encrypted during processing.

6. Payment Information

• Payments for platform access or services are processed securely via Razorpay
• Your card details are not stored by us or Razorpay after the transaction
• Transaction data is only used as long as necessary to complete and record the transaction

Payment methods may be modified without prior notice.

7. No Return / Refund Policy

All platform access fees and service charges are non-refundable and non-transferable once payment is completed. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, including logos and visual media on morph-z.com, is owned by us and protected by copyright laws. Design outputs produced by the platform using your input files remain your intellectual property. You retain full ownership of any .gh files or images you upload.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the applicable data protection laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
